Nov. 27-Dec. 1

I hope you all had a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving! We have a lot to do to finish out the semester, and a short time to do everything--so stay focused :). Here's what you'll be doing this week.

7th grade: You will work on PLTW Activity 1.3 "How Big Was That Fish?" to learn about accurate and precise measurements, and measurement conversions. Get ready to learn how to use a new measurement tool, the caliper. You will also learn how to create a digital breakout.

8th grade:

Monday-Collect Temperature data with your model home

Tuesday-Thursday--Revise your model home to make improvements to reduce heat loss, and collect your second set of data.

Friday--Create a poster to present your project and data
