PBL

Science Academy

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional method of hands-on, active learning centered on the investigation and resolution of messy, real-world problems.

Students interact with an authentic audience, solve authentic problems, interact with  content in a meaningful way, and grow in the technological skills

PLTW is a “hands-on” engineering-based program that incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) all into the same course.

According to Project Lead the Way: the program, “focuses on showing-not telling-students how engineers use technology to solve everyday problems.”
