8th grade:

Monday-Finish research and experiment planning; Materials list is required before testing tomorrow.

Tuesday--Testing of your substances

Wednesday-Friday--Make charts to present your conclusions on the results of your testing, and present on Friday.

7th grade:

Monday--Finish up our pollinator unit with some fun role playing activities (you don't want to be absent today!)

Tuesday--Computer Lab with Legends of Learning games to understand the role that pollinators play in the interactions of ecosystems.

Wednesday-Friday- New PBL problem

"How can I use my understanding of STEM and Science elements to design an affordably priced t-shirt that will make a Pitner Science Olympiad team stand out in a crowd." This is for real!

We will hear from experts to understand the need and constraints of this problem, and the chosen design will be made into shirts for the Pitner team. Let the competition begin!
