8th grade:

Monday-Students will have their work from last week posted in the hallways for use by the 8th grade to learn about the Solar Eclipse

Tuesday--We will have guest speakers Danielle Hilldebrand and Kelsey from Pearl's Spa. They will teach the students how to make fizzy soap bath bombs, and how important it is for the ingredients to have the right chemical and physical properties in the proper ratios. Chemistry is everywhere--even in soap!

Wednesday-Friday Students will begin a new PBL as a CSI agent to identify 3 mystery substances by their physical and chemical properties and changes. Two worksheets will be due on Friday. The physical & chemical properties and changes worksheet that you were given Monday or Tuesday, and the research that you will be doing as the expert on your particular substance.

7th grade:

Monday-Tuesday--BEE movie

Wednesday-Thursday--finish all parts of your project--3D habitat, 3D pollinator, 3D flower, and visual presentation of your habitat improvement

Friday--You will present your project in the media center. Make sure you use the check list to have everything you need!
