I          Science!

This will be my fourth year at Palmer Middle School, but I've been teaching for a lot longer than that!  I'm crazy about rockets and space, and no matter what science I teach, I'll find a way to connect it.

 

My Family

Mr. McIntire is my wonderful husband who puts up with all my school stuff when it takes over the house, especially when I trying out new experiments or projects.  He  is an amazing cook!  I have four grown children, and three of them are teachers in Cobb County.  We talk about school all the time!  I have 3 grandsons, and I'm teaching them about rockets, too!  I also have a dog named Chewbacca-- we are a Star Wars family.

My Adventures

​

I love adventure!  I've been to Rome, Hawaii, Yellowstone, and other amazing places. I've been zip-lining (it was fast), sat on the finish line for the Indianapolis 500 (it was loud), and I've even been on a weightless flight (it was seriously awesome).  I was selected as a Honeywell Educator for Space Academy 2017, which I did last summer.  Can't wait to tell you all about it!
